Parade Laps/BBQ for Cale - November 6, 2011

should be there instructing for FATT so was gonna try and rope things off then so that if any NASA folks that come for FATT will not setup in the corner and then have to move for the weekend. will bring the RV over so we have a place to keep things and a fridge/freezer as needed.
Excellent thought.

Touring laps will be offered during
lunchtime on Sunday for a $20 minimum donation per car, to honor our friend Cale
Kastanek. This is a low speed lapping session behind a pace car (no passing, no
helmets.) Anyone on premises is welcome in any car or truck as long as there is
a seat belt for each occupant. 100% of touring lap proceeds will be donated to a
fund to be chosen by Cale's family. Last year we raised $1757; this year we hope
to raise much more. Everyone who donates more than $20 per car will get a free
Cale sticker (while supplies last.) Tickets will be available at registration
from 10am to noon on Sunday, or you can just show up to pre-grid by 12:15 with
cash, it all goes in the same donation box. We will need to get everyone to sign
a special waiver and get another wristband. We also do a quick meeting
beforehand so if you are not on grid by 12:15pm Sunday, you cannot participate
in this touring lap session.

My wife will also be with me, so I should be listed with a +1. I'll probably end up grabbing a few brats for the grill
Thanks Keith, come grab caution tape out of the NASA trailer if you need it... big white enclosed w/CMC Mustang in the back, green F350 dualie, corner across from tech.
Jon, I'll be getting there sometime this evening. If the corner area hasn't already been roped off, I'll grab the caution tape since we'll be near the NASA trailer. We're aiming to set up the MM paddock spot near where Jeff Curtis usually sets up.

Only if you spell my name right..
That said, if I remember, i'll ask Goldenfri to bring it up with him on Sunday. Can I ask you to return the unused portion to me later in case I need it again? With the way this winter is shaping up, I might be getting a new front end if I remember to back into my parking space before the snow storm
The list should be updated by now. With recent additions, i think we may need additional burgers or hotdogs.. or whatever meat products you guys want..
