I think you were very lucky...probably won't be next time, so be prepared! And stop complaining.

I got pulled over AND a ticket for tailgateing... I WIN!
hmmm driving right up someones ass vs a burned out tail light. I think Brian takes the win on that one. Yours was easily avoidable all you had to do was quit driving with your head up your ass. Not everyone looks at there plate light

i got pulled for going through a yellow and actually got "yellow light violation" on N. Glebe road a year ago. i was past the point where it should slam on my brakes to not pass the light so i went and it was still yellow as i crossed and didnt turn red till 3 secs later. ( i was watching in my mirror). cop pulls me, gave me crap and told me wrong info on how ABS works cause it was wet out too but not raining lol and wrote me up for not having a front plate, and i had a to pay a fine. he knew the yellow light violation would most likely not fly in court so he probably just fined me for the plates.

^WTF? I've never heard of a "Yellow Light Violation". Yellow is a yield signal, not a stop signal. As long as you were clear of the intersection by red i don't understand what you are doing wrong there?

yeah it had rained in the morning and had stopped by noonish when i was driving. so the roads were wet but not raining anymore. he also proceeded to instruct me on what ABS does and in a nutshell told me that it stops cars faster and better even when its wet out. i just nodded at him and agreed so he would stop giving me heat. didnt want to correct the already irritated officer.

man I live in Richmond and and I'm being honest when I tell you this DWB exists and down here driving an S2000 will get you pulled I was pulled by a henrico county cop, who was on the other side of the road, for accelerating to fast. How do you accelerate to fast without breaking traction. I sat there for 20 minutes with 3 cop cars behind me just for them to tell me to slow down. Im in the process of suing the department for racial profiling and for those who dont know that is now illegal in all 50 states
