I have also used PT. I've known Chris for a while(before he even worked at that "other" shop). And yes, I switched to the CC from an ACT. Worlds of difference. In traffic, it is worth the money, no doubt.

That said, I am not sure I can fully agree with the overrev thing or I am missing something. Our cars have a built-in rev limiter. That means, going up in gears you cannot overrev the motor. You can, however, do it on a misshift downward.

315/180 on their dyno?!

Maybe it can be explained better by someone else, but the way I took it is that you could be at WOT under load when suddenly the clutch may disengage. This would cause a sudden jump in RPM that could possibly damage internals. Of course, if you are just cruising, you'd just need a new clutch. That being said, if I am wrong could someone please explain what would happen if the throw out bearings failed? I'm not a hundred percent sure.

About the clutch, I was very hesitant in getting a new one. The one I had on there wasn't even a year old, and the car was babied. Why would I want to drop ~1200 on a part I didn't even need to replace yet? I bit the bullet and am glad I did it. It was one of the best purchases I made for the car.

Lastly, I am very happy with my numbers on the "heartbreaker" dyno dynamics.

I'm a fairly new owner and now that my car is running well, I look forward to meeting you all at future meets!

There was a silver s2k there that had an intercooler showing through the grille, looked pretty clean, was that his?
