Thumbs up QUESTION

Was to lazy to dig the S out of snow and look for myself, But can someone help me out?

1 Do the exhaust flanges bolt together with studs and nuts or bolts and nuts?

2 What size hardware is used?

3 Does aftermarket exhaust hardware differ from OEM?

pretty positive that they are studs and bolts for the oem cat.

Also the hardware is interchangeable. unless you're getting a test pipe too. Then you're going to need longer ones i think.

ok nuts and bolts. I used the parts that came with my exhaust. What is your status are you getting an aftermarket one or going back to stock?

Uhm... I have no idea but I've installed catless and catback exhausts.

There are two bolts with springs with nuts connecting the header to the cat.
There are three bolts that bolt the cat to the rear section by themselves.
As for the hangers... you just use the old hangers.

What are you doing exactly?

I forgot about the springs on the bolts between the cat and the header... I bet those can be pulled out once you loosen them. I cannot speak from experience here, however, as I have never removed my cat.
