won't you just be taking oturn's stuff? it's already on his car isn't it?

they are all 14mm bolts. the T1R should have more hardware because it comes in 2-3 pieces unlike the 1 piece oem where all you need is the bolts from the cat-header (12mm spring bolts which you will reuse anyway) and the cat-exhaust studs/nuts. with the T1R you will reuse the cat-header bolts and the cat-exhaust will be nut/bolt as opposed to stud/bolt. the hardware that connects the separate pieces of the catback are nuts/bolts

My T1R exhaust used the oem spring bolts at the header but then it was a slip joint with springs connecting the two pieces of exhaust together. I borrowed an extra exhaust hanger from the OEM setup and that was it.

That's a good point... The OE exhaust is all one giant (and st00pid heavy) piece.

My Invidia came in two pieces but it can be rather easily installed/uninstalled without taking it apart. IIRC, step 1 in the instructions were to "assemble the exhaust."

Thanks to everybody. I am trading my OEM for O-Turns T1R. Im assuming the hardware will be rusted. If so i was going to take some stainless steel hardware from work to use i case a bolt/stud breaks ur bends. That way I'll have everything i need ahead of time.

lol, I installed an exhaust (HKS?) on my friend's STi that had been on a ship to Hawaii and back so both bolts were rusted and broke when I was taking the OEM exhaust off and I put the exhaust on anyways hanging by the hangers and I told him to go buy the bolts and I would put it in for him but I don't think he ever bought them or is ever going to buy them and is probably driving around right now with his exhaust not connected, lol. hopefully it won't fall off and hurt someone.

Just bring a bag of nuts and bolts then.

The OE Header & OE Cat use bolts. HOWEVER, if my memory serves me, those bad-boys are pressed in and, for all intents and purposes, may as well as be studs.
Your memory served you well Jeff. You're right. They are "bolts" but they're pressed into place on the cat so you should consider them studs (they don't even have traditional bolt heads on them, just a flat piece).

They're near impossible to get out yourself, unless you're as silly as I am and go under there trying to get the bolts off with a huge impact wrench and neglect to set it to turn counter clockwise instead of clockwise
