I thought it was illegal to replace the steering wheel with one that doesnt have an airbag if the car was originally equipped with one. Is that just a state by state thing?

Don't reckon you could go to a wreckin' yard and just jimmy the emblem off with a screw driver...? Surely its just "applied" to the plastic airbag panel
