Default slight vibration under load

under acceleration over 50 mph or so i have a slight vibration that I believe is the inner cv joints...I have read on here that there is a tsb for it and that you can swap the left to right and vice versa and it will cure the problem...Has anyone had any experience with this? Is the swap difficult to do and are there any special tools needed...I prefer to have some1 more knowledgeable do it for me and get paid of course

Good link, Dave.

Anthony, switching doesn't guarantee you anything as was my case. I ended up replacing both with new. It's not a hard job, but it can be messy. I've done the side-to-side swap & the complete replacement.

Always. Availability is another issue. This weekend is out- an employee had a death in the family so I'm working until next Tuesday. I would suggest having new cv housings at the ready in case the pitting is bad. Generally, the driver's side housing is the worse of the two.

I've got Redline grease at the house. One tube does both sides. Check with HTG, too. I believe his price is right there with Majestic.
