Hey for anyone who is interested I put a couple pics in my album from my day at summit. The event was done with the NVCC(corvette club) on the Jefferson Circuit. Road racing the S was complete blast and I cant wait to get some good tires and get back out there.

do you need a roll bar/cage for summit?

 

stock roll hoops meet requirements there.

stock roll hoops were good enough for Hwy 9 roll x 5 too (2000 SC RIP)

 

ouch highway roll does not sound fun in a s2k, did your windshield colapse on you? the only tech problem they had with my stock roll hoops was that with my helmet on my head stuck out a couple inches(im 6'3)as definately wasnt keeping me off the track. i just kept low in my seat till i got out there and kept it cool in the turns.

small V in windshield, tore off a wheel, banged everything in.... top went down at home when i release the latches. all in all, sorta glad it held up that well, replaced the 00 with an 04.
