I'm fine with that, so I'm still in.
Hopefully that will be enough. They had 11 instructors at the Redline Event... and that didnt turn out very well.

NASA usually has around 30-35 instructors but they probably have alot more students than this event.

Also, $260 is deffinatly on the higher side for track days, especially for a one scheduled on a weekday. Although they are offering 6 sessions and a catered lunch. (4-5 sessions and no free lunch are the norm for these type events)

I dont want to discourage anyone though! Going to the track is the most fun you can have with your cloths on!!!

That is my thought. It is a little expensive, especially since I am doing NASA the 11th & 12.

Hi All:

We (www.MVPTrackTime.com) run our events for maximum track time with safety in mind BUT we are not like a PCA, BMWCCA, etc. driving event where every student has an assigned isntructor who must sign off on your abilities. We attract a mature group who are generally smart enough (particuarly after our mandatroy drivers meeting) to leave the ego at home and enjoy the day. Figure about 50% MORE track time at our event in comparison to others.

There will be formal classroom time for the Novice run group(s) and in-car instruction as well.

If you have questions, feel free to contact me at (314) 249-3770. Happy Motoring!

Mark "Feff" Pfeffer - MVP Track Time

I am out because they dont need instructors, can't afford to mis work and pay for a track day.
TrackDaze is on Shenandoah the weekend of Oct 4-5 and needs instructors. Or you can just come drive (the one day option is $215.) 4 x 30min sessions/day...

So, some dude wrecked his C6 Z06 in the first 5 minutes. Because of that, the novices only got 4 sessions (one of which was a no passing "follow the leader" session). The guy was an instructor too.

Still a good time, though. I learned a lot from Cale and Pete today.. Thanks for your help guys!

Cale let me ride with him on one of his sessions and I was really impressed. I think I'm probably going to think about getting a roll bar and seats/harnesses next year or the year after.

Cale had a fun time chasing down (and passing) Andy Pilgrim in an 09 CTS-V.
