was a fun day.
Very busy for instructors, there was only 3 run groups, and instructors taught in 2 and drove in the third... didnt leave much time for anything!!

I did get to ride in the Atom... Crazy fast! Also I rode in 3 S2000 and a couple CTSVs. Ron, Nick and Lois did awesome... Deffinatly some fast S2000 drivers!
You did awesome job Cale. For me the only reason I went fast because of your very calm encouragement . I did the same drivng with Frenchshua (or something) as my instructor and he was impressed until the last 2 laps where I gotten tired, started losing concentration and almost gave him a hurt attack .

Thanks again Cale .

I think if they do more events next year, I wouldn't mind going, but only if they got more instructors.

There were a lot of people there who had never been on a track before, and they should definitely not had a chance to be out there by themselves without instructors.

I felt bad for you guys too, no chance for a break at all.

I believe his name is "Francois." Good try though.

I rode in a caddy on the 2nd session of the day... It was the guys first day at the track, and he went solo the first session because there wasnt enough instructors!

Granted, we started the day -1 instructor...

I was bummed out the first run because I did not have one. Did not get anything from it at all. Just followed around the car in front of me. The second run I was about to park it, luckilly I got the last instructor Frenchshua.

Yeah, forgot about that. So there were only 14 instructors with 20 people in each novice group.

I do feel bad to what happened to the -1 instructor but what was ironic is that during driver's meeting he gave a lot of safety advice than anybody else.

I guess sometimes you have to follow what you preach.

That is unacceptable. It is fortunate for all concerned that there were no other major incidents.

I am happy that a couple more of "us" made it onto the track. It's an experience never to be forgotten.
I agree.. I think we're really lucky that none of the novices wrecked their cars.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the track more often next year.
