I think your plan of going with the UK spec alignment is good. I'd keep their recommended toe settings but instead of going with -1f -2r I'd do 1-.5f, -2.5r. You don't wear tires out that fast as long as the toe is straight. Heck I'm running a lot more than that. I daily a -3f, -3.4r.

when you say -1f -2r I'd do -1.5f and -2.5r you are talking about the camber, correct?

basically, keep the UK spec toe settings, but add -.5 to the camber settings?

^yup With good tires you'll be going fast enough that I think even the UK alignment isn't quite enough camber. It's really hard to say though and I've never done extensive testing so I might not be the best person to reference. I've always thought that my alignment felt great.

Now I will say when I did first put my coilovers on and was on the stock ap2 wheels running 215f, 255r I ran -1f, -2r and it felt great. I never had a chance to autocross that though so I don't know how it compared to running more camber. I think the biggest problem is with too much camber up front and only running 215s you'll make the contact patch too small when going straight and it'll hurt braking performance.

On my first set of wheels which were 17x9 rpf1s all around I ran 255s on all corners with -2.5f, -3.3r. It felt great with those wheels but I did run an autocross on my stock ap2 wheels on the tire size above with that rpf1 alignment and I felt like the car didn't stop nearly as well as it did with the 255s up front. It sounds like for you that you might be best running the UK spec and just going from there....I do think you might have rubbing issues out back though with that size rim/tire and only -2 in the rear.

With the new setup? 17x7.5/+50 & 17x9/+63 215/45 front and 255/40 rear? I thought I'd have more room for adjustments with that.

I'm guessing you are referring to my current setup of 17x9/+44 rear. Thanks for your input

I just got the Euro alignment (I'll post specs later) about a week or so ago and I do think it feels alot better on the curves but not as good for straight normal driving. I only felt the rear end threatening to go out once and I was turning pretty sharp and fast. I also don't have VSA so don't know how that would change things. If you increase the toe it is supposed to decrease the oversteer but will cause shorter tire life. I decided to give it a go and if the tire life becomes an issue I will change up the settings later. LOL I got my spec sheet back and almost everything was red though.
