Things to do in DC area
This is kind of a weird question, but I'm seeing someone I haven't seen in a very long time on Tuesday during the day, and have no idea what to do. My entire life revolves around cars, and she hates cars, so I'm kind of at a loss. I can't really think of anything interesting to do. Anything 21+ isn't really an option. So, any ideas?
Any of the museums downtown. The International Spy Museum was a lot of fun. If it's a nice day you can go down to the waterfront and have lunch/dinner and walk around Georgetown. Sequoias is always nice. If she's a kid at heart you can take her to Dave and Busters in White Flint mall and goof around there. Screw it, just take her shopping for lingerie and score big! As Borat would say, "Have sexytime in the sexy shopp. Is very niiice!"
I agree with the downtown DC suggestion. Just walking around the Mall to the different museums is cool. Have lunch at a great restaurant. There are many. I suggest Jaleo, on the corner of 7th and E, NW. Not a bad walk from the Mall. Take the subway if you go downtown, though. Parking is a mess. Good luck and have fun!
If shes an outdoors kindda gal great falls has some good trails and nice places to sit and chill with a good view. Hard to give you ideas without knowing what she likes. I do like other peoples suggestions on a good restaurant. Think of or find a quiet and small place to talk. Spirit of Washington could get you out on the water if you're into that too.

It looks like you're going to have afternoon rain showers (as reported by weather.com, by no means the meteorological authority).
I work downtown near Chinatown and the Spy Museum is pretty cool, although you'll be doing A LOT of walking around. Lots of good restaurants on the 7th Street corridor, too. Jaleo
