Default Time to replace the top

I just noticed a small hole on the passenger side of my top and looked carefully on the drivers side and noticed its wearing through too. I think I remember someone saying Criswell Honda might replace it under warranty, but can't find who to call and ask for or if I should say someone referred me.

1. Is the top covered by warranty or is it "consumable"? 2001 certified honda with 7 yr 100,000 mile warranty. I only have 35,000 miles and its not 7 years old.

2. If there is no change of getting it replaced through Honda warranty, Has anyone tried www.cabrioworld.com ($747 for new top w/ glass)?

http://www.cabrioworld.com/secure/detail.a...456&modelID=314

3. Anything else to ask or know?

Thanks Dylan. Kwik....if you happen to find it let me know. That would suck. I guess you get what you pay for though.

Cabrioworld top needs a rivet gun. I'll call Nguyen on Tuesday or Monday if they are open.

You sure Dylan? Cabrioworld has a kit included so you don't have to replace the frame. I'd assume OEM would do the same.

i'm pretty sure... the top actually folds a little differently with the plastic window.... with the glass window it's made so that the glass ends up sitting flat when the top is folded....the glass is also smaller then the plastic.... so i'm sure there's gotta be other brackets/braces...
