Thumbs up Tire Change Recommendation

Hey guys,

I was hoping I could get the input of some people here with regards to getting a tire change in the nova area. So I'd like to get my 4 tires replaced (they're wearing pretty thin, especially with winter coming), I'm just concerned about where to go.

My S2000 (frustratingly) was lowered before I bought it, which has prevented a shop or two from being able to get the lift under it. Luckily the people told me instead of trying to force it under, so I'd like to avoid that scenario. I browsed the boards a bit, and it seems that people like Radial Tires in SS or Costco - I tried Radial Tire but the line was crazy hours long.

So my question is - is there a reputable tire place in nova I can go to that will handle lowered cars? Would costco be ok? Also I was looking at Tirevan...

Also I have AP1 rims on my AP2 - are front: 205-55-16 and back: 225-50-16 correct?

Thanks so much for any help you guys can give =)

Tommy

Does PTuning have tires there that I could purchase? Thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah =\ my guess is the owner sold the AP2 rims seperately and put the AP1 rims on when he sold the car to get some extra moneys.

It looks like PTuning is the place to go!

As for tires, I think it'll be 205/55R16 Kumho Ecsta ASX for the front and 225/50R16 Kumho Ecsta ASX for the back, if that sounds good to people.

Thanks again for all the feedback =)

Honestly just my opinion but I never buy tires from a vender or shop. Just go to tirerack. If this is your DD I recomend sumitomo htr III hard to beat the performance for the price. You could always take the rims off and bring them somewhere if that's an option.

Also just picked up ap2v1 from wheel and cap vender on eBay for 540 shipped. If you got the extra cash. They are replicas of oem so you gotta get center caps but the price is right and can't tell the difference.

Well, I have had this problem with a Local Merchants tire. I just threw my lo-pro jack with me and they did all the work. And my all season/winter tires choice is Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons. They were great. the only complaint was the sidewalls seemed week. but only when i took the on ramp at over 50mph
