true.. they have long offset the costs of wireless internet... it's a selling point, not a revenue earner IMO.

Anything within the 495/Toll Road/Rt 123/Rt 7 square is
- I wonder how much their 'nominal fee' for internet service is.

Okay, the 'nominal fee' is only $9.95/night. So, including the high speed internet access it puts me at $85/night - which is still $5 cheaper than Sheraton and much closer to Tyson Corner Malls!

There is also the Dulles Town Centre down Rt. 7 from Tysons. Nice uncrowded mall that is in very nice shape.

you would be a stone's throw away from both Tyson's and Galleria (they are practically across the street from each other)

[QUOTE=Black Nugget,Aug 30 2007, 12:52 PM] Okay, while I'd originally lean towards the Hilton I've just realized that you have to pay for high speed internet while at the hotel. More than likely I'd want internet access, so I can get Mapquest Directions, etc etc. So that is out of the picture.

I did find this :

Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner
$ 89/night
8661 Leesburg Pike Vienna, Virginia 22182

Yep the Sheraton is about 3 miles from the malls while the Hilton is pretty much around the corner from both malls. If the Hilton is still cheaper while still paying for Internet, I would stay there

Based off a recommendation from Peter (4theheckof_it) on Saturday Night I'll be taking Jane to Morton's.
