Verizon nuked my phone today attempting to upgrade the firmware.

They also didn't back up my contacts

So everyone w/ my number I'm asking to text me or PM me with yours.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAY WHO IT IS, lol.

I replied "haha you bricked it didn't you"

he was glad I didn't go off on him as "most people would've".

If you go through the Get It Now section on your phone there is an application that allows you to send all your contact information to their server and then if you ever break or lose your phone the server can send it back to your new phone. It's $1.99 a month (which is BS to charge monthly), but probably well worth it.

A Data Cable and BitPim (free open source software) will backup all your contacts to your computer for you.

The data cable is like $5.00 through eBay.
