Its night-time. Whaddayaexpect? . But I know what you mean On the flip-side, in person, it comes off looking a bit evil

Oooh!...got my own corner, so I'll post it again to 'stick' the pics a bit to this fresh page:

Okay... So basically since November '08 and this thread I've been compulsively trying to iron out an even better LED solution for my headlights. After much trial & error ...I believe I've struck pay-dirt . Whaddayathink?

What you are looking at here are 14 pattern-drilled points around the bottom half of the black plastic insert where it surrounds the HID. I had to wreck a couple inserts through trial & error (plastic insert is just too fragile on top half of the HID 'ring'). But in the process, I fine-tuned a 'template' for drilling this pattern. Patterned for a specific set of flexible strip silicone bright white LEDs purchased off eBay, I then pressed the LED strip into place...hole-by-hole...from the backside of the black insert. Wrapped it up with a bead of silicone to hold them in place. Yummy!

Your car looks sleepy...or as if it's uninterested... Which one is it??

Perhaps your car is no longer amused? I can't wait to see it in person...and see it in my rear view the whole weekend.
