Cool VTSC number

Well, i just got back from Dyno Inc. and they found out that my tensioner pulley was ten degrees off. I am lucky my belt hasnt slipped off and destroyed everything in there. My arbor is bent and i need a new one.

S&R Performance of Tampa has really screwed up this one!! Though for now i will be somewhat calm. If they are helpful in the resolution of this fiasco then i will be happy with them. But if not the slamming will begin. The entire problem stems from an improper install. So yea. Thats why i have 5lbs of boost and that why my SC is so damn loud and now i have a horrible squeek from my tensioner pulley. Ugh. Look forward to a Swap Meet topic to help support my need for money to pay for the repairs.

btw it seems like everyone that works on this car that isn't experienced with superchargers on it tends to set the belt tensioner too loose.

The Arbor is the aluminum shaft that the pulley sits on. I think they actually over tightened it and it caused it to bend and now it is loose/warped

No dont get down on it. Just use a reputable tuner and installer. I went with what was easiest and i am paying the price. Like NightCrawler said in my other thread. Pay a lot at first or pay a lot more after. I am learning that lesson with a quickness. But Dyno Inc is really doing my a big favor on this. They are saving my but. THANKS GUYS!!!
