It doesnt matter what the price was of the sale. If he stated they were flawless, great condition with no rashes, bends etc and you recieve those in the mail, we have a problem. Under no cirmumstance would I sell a member a bent rim, even it if was "slightly" bent. Those rims are def not flawless and if your not happy with them, I would send them back for a full refund or have him give you a partial refund. I think thats one thing thats lacking on this forum, is member feedback for sales, purchases etc that makes other paying s2ki members aware ahead of time with a protential problem purchasing an item from a seller. I remember a thread in the for sale section of those rims, the volks vsxs' with only two pics of the wheels. If this is from that same seller, im glad I didnt pull the trigger on these because based on that specific thread, I wouldve expected "great condition" wheels, not a substandard product that you have displayed here for us to evaluate. My conclusion, not acceptable. One more thing, is the damn tire splitting apart in the third pic or am I seeing things?

i don't think it matters how much the OP paid--if the seller said there weren't ANY flaws then the OP has the right to be angry. there definitely ARE some flaws there...

Yeah, the rim is bent and the tire is splitting. Those are my 2 biggest concerns, I can live with the small scratches and rashes here and there, I'll have those fixed in the future. But the splitting tire and bent wheel is something that needs attention now, I'm not going to jepordise my car and take a chance were the tires blows out and I lose control of the vehicle. But I'm glad to know that I'm not over reacting, and most of you all agree with me. Thanks for everything everyone.

Yeah if he did describe them as flawless then I would agree that it is no longer a subjective issue. My point earlier was that the "condition" terms are usually subjective, but this doesn't seem to be one of those cases.

Definitely try to pursue some kind of resolution with the seller!

id be pissed...period. if that came in the mail after being called flawless id blame him first, if he had proof that they were actually as he described i would then go after whatever company shipped it (UPS, usps, fedex, etc). the fact that he only took two photos one from 10 ft away and one of probably the only good wheel up close and refused to send others just cause they were already in boxes (honestly how hard is it to open, snap a pic and retape?) i would of stopped right there on the deal no matter how good and cheap they were selling for. it smells of a scam right away, he probably got slashed on that one wheel and messed up the others and decided.."hey, why not try to sell it to someone non local and scam the hell out of them and buy myself new wheels and tires with the money" no offense but its partially your fault for not persisting for better photos, especially for used wheels, and still willing to fork over the money after he was being shady and not really cooperating to help sell the wheels by refusing to just get a few better photos. it would be false advertisement if he actually did say it was flawless but it was a private sale and most likely done in liquid cash or check. it wouldnt even be worth lets say $1000 to bring it to court, so the most you can do is chalk it up to a lesson learned, the guy one uped ya. THEN just flame the living hell out of him from s2ki and let EVERYONE know and threaten to continue informing any of his potential buyers in the future about this issue lol he'll either 1. stop getting on s2ki and disappear as the scum he is, or 2. consider reimbursing you or at least work something out

:end rant:

BTW just how much did you pick those up for? lol
