I've never seen any comp rules limiting stud length. I highly recommend any serious track car get extended studs installed in the front during any maintenance that requires the hub to be pulled such as a bearing replacement. Extended studs will support a big brake kit and any required wheel spacers. Open ended lug nuts are available on Ebay. I replaced both front bearings a couple of years ago and I'm kicking myself for not doing it then. I'm going to have to do it all over again to install the longer studs.

Exactly my thinking. I'm going to have to replace a stud so I figured might as well replace them all with arp extended if I already have to pull the bearings.
