Yes, most people run lower pressure in the Winter.... because they never compensate for the change in air temperature. Not dropping names, but I seem to remember a cold night in WV with 12+ S2000's at 20 PSI or less.

I ride 3-4 PSI over spec for commuting. If it snows and I'm having trouble I adjust. But, no sense in lowering in the dry and cold.

good stuff. I'm not sure if doing all these is actually worth doing it. But then again, I never lost control in the snow, ice. So hopefully with little care I put in, they came in and play without me noticing.

and knock on wood

I have a set of winter wheels with snow tires mounted and balanced, $350. I haven't got around to posting them in the for sale thread.

I was also using the Bridgestone 960AS setup. Bridgestone switched up to the 970 this year, and I replaced my rear tires with those. They're really smooth as far as ride quality goes, and they handle well for an all season.

Been on WS70's -- non-stagger 16's on Tire Rack generic 5-spoke alloys -- since about 12/12/2011. Considering I've had pudding stiffer than these tread blocks, no surprise that all steering feel is now missing. And really granny-ing the turns, avoiding any lateral G's at all.

Trying to be patient, waiting for early March to swap back to the Star Specs.

im not worried about turning like an f1 car i just want my daily driver and only car to make it to the summer to see some lateral g's on v710's lol. I'd rather spend 400 bucks to be prepared and it not snow one bit than take a chance with my baby.
