Well just put the ws70's on at work today and I'm super excited about snow coming. After much research I decided to go with 205/55r16 all the way around. Haven't driven it yet I'm just waiting for lunch to bring it in and do the alignment.

All I can say is NY ice racing here I come! Anyone else running blizzaks wanna do a trip to NY to do some ice racing let me know. I'll take a pic later and possibly post them if anyone is interested.

This is the website for the club up there that sounds best for our needs I will be contacting them to find out if it's cool if we run our cars without a roll bar and such.

It's wheel to wheel? S2000 + ice + W2W sounds like a bad combo. I was imagining an autocross style event.

Nope wheel to wheel but a no bumping rule is in effect if you bump you're out I've done this in Alaska so fun and there was no contact.

Continental ExtremeContact™ DWS all around here, spec sized. Good last winter and this. Chose these in very early 2011 after reading test results showing these in second place by a narrow margin behind a more expensive tire. I decided the increase in price for the number one rated tire was not worth the price since the number one at the time didn't show superiority in snow/ice testing, only in dry conditions. I note that some other tires have rated slightly better in more recent tests than were available to read a year ago.

I ran DWS on my STI in the winters and they did great in the snow. You just need to put a couple extra PSI in them because of the soft sidewalls but other than that they are excellent tires for the money especially for the mid-atlantic climate.
