Agreed. I passed an STI the other day that had the Bridgestone Potenza's still on it. Similar tire to the S2000's stock tire. Summer tires = bad in snow / cold, even if all 4 wheels are powered.

Yep, I'm driving my e30 if there's any white stuff on the ground.

It really is all tires though. If it weren't cheaper to insure the e30, I'd just get a set of snows for the S. Plus I'd have an easier time not hanging myself if I put the e30 into a curb than if I did it to the Honda.

Damn! Went to see about ordering WS50's and they're "Sold out for the season" according to Tire Rack. For $4 more each I ordered the Blizzak Revos. Now to find a cheap place to get 'em mounted... And maybe some steelies

Never too late for a beater. Go get a used CRV. Afforable, great gas mileage for a SUV, and those real-time 4 wheel drive system does the job in most slippery situations. Got a new 05 CRV SE a year ago and still LOVE IT.
