Yep, I'm driving my e30 if there's any white stuff on the ground.
It really is all tires though. If it weren't cheaper to insure the e30, I'd just get a set of snows for the S. Plus I'd have an easier time not hanging myself if I put the e30 into a curb than if I did it to the Honda.

Damn! Went to see about ordering WS50's and they're "Sold out for the season" according to Tire Rack. For $4 more each I ordered the Blizzak Revos. Now to find a cheap place to get 'em mounted... And maybe some steelies

Never too late for a beater. Go get a used CRV. Afforable, great gas mileage for a SUV, and those real-time 4 wheel drive system does the job in most slippery situations. Got a new 05 CRV SE a year ago and still LOVE IT.
