So, yeah, the actual closing has to happen yet....but is nearly a year after the divorce and my house has finally received an offer and it has been accepted. It has been a real flat tire to be living where I do in comparsion to where I work and socialize, so finally getting rid of the home is a major burden off of my back. It is difficult to appropriately describe the joy I have...so there will be a big ass party in early June. FINALLY...the divorce will be 100% done.

Now, onto finding a place to live. Gotta have a garage for the S2000 and reasonable rent, probably gonna end up in Overland Park/Olathe. Any suggestions would be welcomed, I am starting the apartment hunting this Thursday!

Depends on if I have a roomie or not. I have one in mind but its looking like due to a lack of income he is not going to work out. And Jessica Simpson stopped returning my calls, so....

What kind of rent would it be for one bedroom? Garage?

you could get into something half descent for around 1,500...so if you add all your utilities and everything, with 1k per person you would be set...

I just spent a few months looking downtown at places that had covered parking. I was looking mainly at lofts downtown and river market, but if that's something you might be interested in let me know and I could tell you a couple that would work...
