I have been lazily thinking about getting my website rolling.... it is Teeth Optional

I paid a lady on this board to at least get it sort of started... it is kind of like www.peopleofwalmart.com but would be across a broader band of people (state fairs, truck pulls, etc....)..

I guess the $ is in the # of visitors and then you sell advertising? I am stupid on this shit. I am guessing Eric (Cthree) gets some $ from the members (like me) and some advertising $....

I think the name of mine is pretty cool but need to get more publicity and then get some advertisers... .any experts wanna help steer me in the right direction?

I am looking for easy $.

The key is getting traffic to the site. We like to describe people in terms of their tooth:tattoo ratio

 

Read up on SEO and monetizing a blog. Also, if you intend to make this a business effort, I think the design could use some help. Check out some of the popular websites that are in the same category as your site and compare your sites design to theirs.
