JSDA is worth a look at $20
Jones Soda had a good run in April but has recently pulled back over 30% from it's high in mid-April. I think as it nears $20 it may be putting in a bottom soon and is worth watching. I don't suggest you go out and buy it tomorrow, just sayin' it's something that might look good on your watch list.

Shorted it around 28 (when still going up). Was getting a bit worried today when it hit $25, but now its back down to $21. They just blew the Q1 sales numbers and its still over priced on fundamentals and still is plagued by cash problems. P/E is $135.... Yah, they had a rough quarter, but it's all hype and projected growth.

It's a growth story, you need to look a little further out. They are transitioning to a new distribution model so a lot of the financial issues are related to growth over bottom line earnings right now. I think selling this short beyond here could be a costly mistake. I don't like that they don't have an options chain you can hedge against. You might want to take something off the table soon. Remember this is their first quarterly report.

Jones Soda is a great play at $22 right now. It will surely see $32 again after it's new disbribution channel gets into Walmart, BJs, and other major stores. The summer "soda" buying is just getting off the ground and Jones is a great play now that it had a big pull back.

It's a great play at $22 if the elevator stops at this floor. If it continues south to 18 or below it won't look so good. This is why I recommend just keeping an eye on it. I agree it will see a huge gain once the wider distribution channel kicks in, next quarter or the one after but it will do what HANS did which is skyrocket to a double or triple, linger for a while and then get crushed never to return again. It's a fad but I think it's just beginning.

Jones Soda is also in the process of making an energy drink available. They have some good recent news if looked into at finance.google.com . I'm a new shareholder of this stock, just wish I had more money to spread around into other investments or into larger investments

If the energy drink is well known about (the planning), then that is already factored into the present market price. However, if the demand for this drink or popularity surpasses expectations/anticipation, it will rise. Which is likely, I'm guessing.
