But the question is, would Yahoo be a good buy if the price goes down 5+% Monday?

In my opinion: no. The company does not have a profitable future due in large part to a business model which is unsustainable. I don't think the company is a buy even at their pre offer share price. Their current share price is bouyed by the Microsoft offer. A 5% drop on Monday is pretty conservative. A chop of 25-30% is quite possible over the next few days.

If yahoo tanks it wont show till the asian market open up on Sunday around 430PST cause yahoo own 40% of Yahoo over there and it will show, and then in the US market Pre trading it will show as well. When the market opens Monday we will know how bad the damage will be already. I say wait it out tell its in the teens and then it should be a good buy.

Bought some Yahoo options after the fall yesterday. It was cheap and wished I had bought more. Doubled my money already. Let's hope the rumors are true.
