Default MODERN WARFARE 2 and the stock market

Okay my question for the people that invest in the stock market. When Modern Warfare 2 sells 1 million copies the first day do you think it will raise Activision stocks? I would think yes, what do you guys think? and by how much?

Everyone, including you, already knows it's going to sell incredibly well. Don't you think it's already priced into the stock that they have a guaranteed multi-million seller franchise game coming out in 3 months?

its all about expectations. If it sells more than they expect, itll go up..but lets be honest. Theyre expecting it to sell like crazy..and if it doesnt sell as well...the price will go down. All about expectations!

Also, activision is huge. Even if it's a bigger hit than people think it will be so what? Drop in the hat. One game simply isn't going to make an impact on something the size of Activision unless it's stupendously huge... like Starcraft II.

Also, Modern Warfare was a sales flop (in that it didn't meet expectations), so I'm not sure why you'd be expected the sequel of the sequel of the... (you get the point) to do that well. They're doing the exact same thing again, over hyping to the point where expectations can't possibly be met.

Agreed, take a look at activation's porfolio and number of employees, a since game (even something like starcraft 2 for blizzard) will not raise its stock to a perceptable degree. Now something along the lines of when World of Warcraft came out, a game that continues to earn them huge amounts of money, would make a difference but only if you got in before the first month or two.
