It's BACK!

The BALLS Challenge annual triathlon of motorsports is happening again, this November 4th thru the 6th, 2005!

Don't know what the BALLS Challenge is? It's Las Vegas's FIRST and ONLY TRUE test of driver AND car ability! Competitors are pitted against each other over THREE events:
Drag Race - Two questions are typically always asked of car lovers:
1. what do you got done to it?
2. What does it do in a quarter mile. We couldn't possibly leave this out, now could we?

Autocross - A course set-up in a parking lot lined with cones. One vehicle navigates the course, avoiding hitting the cones. The driver is looking to navigate the course in the quickest time.

Time Trials - A real road course, real speeds, real fun!! This event is run like a hot lapping/open track days. You take your street car on a road course at freeway speeds!

The BEST times of each event is averaged, the person with the FASTEST AVERAGED time, WINS!

What do they win? Currently, the prize is simply free dinner. Other prizes will be announced over the next few months.

There are three very simple rules to participate in the BALLS Challenge:
1. No borrowed cars (must be YOUR car)
2. Car has to be registered and insured (you can't run the drag race unless it is).
3. Run what you brung... 7L vettes, to 2L rotaries, to Daewoos...

The best thing about the BALLS Challenge this year is, it's happening ALL ON ONE WEEKEND! Friday, Saturday and Sunday! For you out of towners, you stay for the entire weekend!

SEMA is happening THAT SAME WEEK PRIOR TO THE BALLS CHALLENGE!!

How much does it cost? To enter in the BALLS Challenge, it will cost you $5. That's it... you still have to pay for the time trial event (Roughly $170), the drag race ($10), and the autocross (roughly $40)... but, what do you get out for your $5?

- THREE days of racing in a variety of venues
- Bragging rights if you beat anyone
- Our own run group at the autocross and the time trial event
- if you win, free dinner!
- a DVD compilation of all of the pictures and videos captured from the event, as well as a compilation video of the event
- a cheesy plaque that indicates your times for each event, with pictures of your car on it.

We are limiting the event to 20 participants! Will you be participanting in this year's BALLS Challenge?
