exhaust recommendations
OK, I think I am finally ready to upgrade the exaust on my 05 S2k. I'd like recommendations on different systems as well as recommendations of places in town to deal with.
Thanks

Hi Russ, Are you looking for more noise? You might want to make an apointment at JTG. They can tackle exhaust installations at a reasonable price. You might want to try DDSS(Dragstrip Dave's S2000 Shop) too. DDSS focuses more on engine and underthehood wrenching though.
Unless you buy from a member, I don't think any shop is going to stock a good exhaust for our car here in the valley. You might want to order some bolt on parts from JAPAN.

I'd like it to sound like the sports car it is rather then an accord. Perferebly I'd like some sort of European sound rather then a loud "fart can" sound. I'd also like to stay with the dual exhaust tips.
The only Euro sounding exhaust for the S2K is made by Supersprint. It also happens to be one of the highest quality pieces you can buy since it has passed TUV testing for use on road cars in Germany.
Fwiw when the time finally comes and I do get my new car I will be getting a Supersprint for it. At the last mega meet I rode in drewchie's car which is equipped with the Supersprint and it sounded greeeeaaaatttt!
im looking into getting the fujitsubo. im looking to keep my car quiet since i had the invidia on my 03. but noone in town is going to stock them you can check out www.bulletproofautomotive.com i believe they are selling them for 765. which is a deal being that most cat backs for our cars. are over 1g. also the amuse exhuasts are nice they sound great they have many set ups to pick from and they are titanium so they are really light but you are going to be looking around 2200. the hks sounds great to but there are rumors that you lose hp. to get an idea of how diffrent exhausts sound you can go to www.s2000library.com it has video clips of many of the catbacks available for our car. i think this is one the longest posts ever for me.
