Default Reno/Sparks

Hey everyone,

Later in July I'll be spending a large amount of time in Reno/Sparks area.

Wondering if there are group drives?
Where are the good roads to have some spirited fun? All work and no play make me... k k crazy!
Who organizes the autox? Is there a particular series that is good?

Bring me up to speed on having the most fun in my S this summer in the Reno/Tahoe area!

Thanks,
Rob

There is Virginia city uphill/downhill fun drive (~20 miles from Reno).
Weekend cruise recommend around Lake Tahoe drive (~45 miles to the lake and ~70 miles around the lake).
Auto-x (15 miles)or track day at Reno Fernley Raceway(40 miles) checkout Reno SCCA
2 of us also race kart Go Kart

most of the roads are mountain. atleast the ones Nat is talking about. To Lake Tahoe via I-80 I-50 or kingsbury grade. then virgina city back truck routes and gieger grade. I'll be at all the autox until the end of july when I move, but there should be a PDX somewhere inbetween.

We currently drive mostly unused roads here, that's what I was thinking of. I'm familiar with the i50, it's nice.

If there are meets in June/July I will likely show.
