Dinner in Manchester
For beer and dinner I like Strange Brew. Mostly because they have a ton on tab and decent food. For just beer sometimes I'll hit up Milly's because they brew their own, but they're kind of a dive. Not really a dinner spot. For cheap eats, Red Arrow diner. Tongiht is also a full moon so the bar at Margarita's might be a fun (but busy) place to be.
Pretty much every other Wednesday I go to Thousand Crane II in Nashua. They have a sushi buffet which is all you can eat for $20. It was really good at first because the owner was there and also had a another guy to help out with the buffet. They would spend more time mixing it up as to what was out on the buffet. But lately it's been just Dave so the sushi plates are getting devoured within minutes of it hitting the table. He's been making a lot of the same rolls over and over in order to keep up. He usually has a tray of sushi, sashmi, and misc "stuff". By "stuff" I mean fairly non tradition items like: like spicy salmon nachos or this last time they had mini martini glasses with tuna tataki & cucumbers in a wasabi sauce. Going lately it's been very hit or miss. If the place is busy it sucks because he's not keeping up, if it's not busy then it's still great. If you're fine with waiting they also have a hot-side buffett with misc chinese food stuffs. This is only at the Nashua location, the Thousand Crane in Manchester was his previous place but was sold to a whole diferrent owner. If you're game to come down to Nashua it runs from 5-7PM (but it never ends right at 7). I'm not working next wednesday so I can be there whenever.
