Thumbs up Donuts

One of my guys just went to pick up donuts. I RARELY eat them. They have way too many calories, and they sit like lead in my stomach.

But, now and again, a donut tastes pretty good. Today might be one of those days, though I'll be sorry later on.

What about you?

By the way, a couple of these answers are "custom"

I don't think I've ever bought a donut, but I'll eat them if I'm hungry and they're around. For instance, Kenta brought donuts to my fluids day and I ate a couple for breakfast. Occasionally, people bring them into work and 95% of the time I don't take one.

I voted never, but will eat one if they are the only thing available and I am REALLY hungry. They not only sit like lead in my stomach, they give me terrific heart burn.

I take a "happy tummy pill" daily. It works wonders!!! But if I happen to forget to take one - all bets are off and I'll feel icky at some point during the day.

Bill are you on a daily pill?

Omneprazol (sp?), but I try not to take it every day if I can help it.

Fortunately, Krispy Kreme never took off here in New England. I'd be in big trouble if they did. Dunkin Donuts seem to stay with me too long. One or two Munchkins seems to be my limit.

When donuts show up at work, it drives me nuts when someone will quarter a filled donut, the inner goop just flows out, rendering it very messy and unappealing. Of course, they keep going back to cut off more pieces. Just eat the damn thing and be done with it; there's just as many calories if you eat it all at once as if you eat it piecemeal.
