I bet it is. I use to come home from work and just not have any energy. I also use to wake up tired and never felt like I really slept. I weaned myself off them, suffered the not too happy tummy until I got into see my doc and then they switched me to Protonix. It's like a difference between night and day. They say omeprazol doesn't technically have any side affects however I searched and found a board of folks discussing issues they were having with omeprazole then I made my decision. Keep in mind I had been on that script for a while too (couple of years) and I could just never understand why I always felt so tired. Seriously think about talking to your doc about switching you over.
