There was about 1/2" of ice on top last night. I didn't check it this morning.

if you put water in a freezer it will eventually turn into ice and if you put ice on the stove it will eventually turn back into water

erick has a new to him fridge and is testing it in his garage.
he tried 2 oz of water and it froze ok.
then he tried 10 gallons but hasn't posted results.

I was just to lazy to go find that thread since it was typical NE and part of something else like shoes shopping or something.

water represents thermal load.
empty fridge doesn't test very much.
