stay tuned for reviews as they are coming sometime today

getting about the same package as i have now - phone, tv, net

upgrades include 25 meg down and up (have 16/8 now) free wireless N router (already have that free from comcast) - more TV, (all movie channels) more high def channels, high def dvr in the bedroom and high def dvr in the tv room (already have this)

Let me know what you think of the remote and the control features. I was at a friend's house last night and I found the control to be counter intuitive. Almost like it was developed by Microsoft!

will do - did you play with the widgets?

seems cool to have local weather, news and even face book on your TV with the press of a button - as a side note - i really don't use FB too much as from what i read potential employers look up FB

I am not holding my breath for FIOS around here either

I recently switched to Dish network from Directv and ordered the cheapo 5meg service from charter as it's all that's available for me around here.

Charter is offering a super low end 1 meg service for $19.95/mo but that's slower than I get with my iphone tethered. For $29.95 I'll get the 5meg which will be plenty for what I do. As long as it can stream pr0n I am fine
