If it's nice go for a walk in some sort of populated area, i.e. outdoor afluent strip center mallish area then eat at a nice restraunt in that location. If it turns out well walk around some more and then set up for a second date. If it doesn't go so well at least you can admire the cars going by/ parked.

 

Crap. It's been about 29 years since I had a first date. I probably can't help.

One thing is a must. REMEMBER HER NAME!

I agree with Josh. Maybe a stroll in a quaint area, then dinner. NOT at the steak dive. You can save that for your first wedding anniversary.

Friday nights are busy at restaurants. Best to make a reservation wherever you plan on having dinner. Shows you think ahead.
