How about going to Newport in the afternoon - walking around either the cliff walk or to a mansion - then you can grab a bite to eat for lunch. Lunch is way less formal and contains less pressure than a dinner date and if you like her you can bump it up next time to a dinner date - if you don't like her i.e. you find it difficult to remember her name - then you can call it a day and never contact her again. Sounds like the perfect plan!!!

 

If she's a sports fan, that's OK. Not a very high pressure date, safe conversation, that could work.

Lynda's Newport idea is good too, but probably too crowded. Take her there in September if you are still dating.
