Gas saving tips?

I just got home a few minutes ago from doing exactly that. I actually describe a lot of what I do as "lawyer work" because we have trials where we present our evidence to the Navy, we cite precedent from other situations in the past, and everything is documented and filed. I pretty much told one of my co workers that instead of going to trial with the Navy, he's going to have to settle out of court. And by "settle" I mean strap his item to a floating barge and set off explosives

I love explaining that to people.
The company I just departed had spent two years developing a product that was like a bridge that only went halfway across the river.
The first half was brilliant, but the just didn't understand that to be a product they couldn't show up with a science fair project that the customer had to finish.
Of course when you point out that they're wrong your not a team player...
I had the chance to put Bill's fuel mix suggestion into affect today. 5 gallons of 89 and 5 gallons of 93, average price per gallon $3.84, not bad when I saw other places pricing 93 grade very close to $4.
I paid over $4 for the first time to top up in Lenox, MA when I met up with Mike for the drive over. Luckily I only needed about 3 gallons so it didn't hurt too much that time

Wow! Sorry Dave
I don't think we'll be over $4 in my area until June.

Your optimistic! On the plus side i got 28.5 mpg on the trip to and back from Bill's on saturday. Return trip home was top down so that robbed a little fuel mileage.
Yes I am
I'm getting work and money in, and I'm not going to let gas prices keep me from going where I want to go
I averaged 26 overall this weekend. Probably got better going over with top and windows up than coming home with the top down

I filled up after Bills at 4.299 but I was on vapors and needed to stop.
Ellen ya hear that 4.229 your $4.00 a gallon is right around the corner.
So I should give up having a life and sit home crying about how expensive gas is?
Not gonna happen
For events like brake day I could have driven my Civic and had just as much fun
If gas hits $5/gallon I will probably drive the Civic more and/or skip a few meets but until then... I'm just going to work more hours and send more dough to Mobil
