Front page of the Herald has a story about some little dog that got killed by other dogs while in doggie day care. I can't believe that is what the Herald thinks is a front page story.

What about the news reports of "internal organs" being found?

They neglect to tell you the organs were not human. Still gross, but they needed to drag people in with the headline.

Yeah, someone at court made a quip about it being a slow news day after seeing the Herald. Economy gone to hell, war, all kinds of bad news going that they can sensationalize. Heck, even the good news that Ford announced a $1B profit would have been better than a dog story. But, I guess good news doesn't sell.

He is, and he's really sweet... the litter box is an issue right now. I don't like litter boxes and I don't have a lot of options for placement, I think I'll have to share my ladies room with him.

I'd put it in a corner of the shop, but the boss didn't really want the cat in the shop. He was concerned the cat would get underfoot and someone would get hurt. Right now the boss is away and the cat is occupying his office during the day. At night I put him in a small entryway, with his food and facilities.

They say that "no good deed goes unpunished."

Seriously, though, that's one cute cat.

He's quite comfortable. Spends his days sleeping in the dog's bed, and at night in the small office/entry way where he can't get into anything.

Litter box is an issue during work hours, let's just say you know when he's used it. I think I'll show him the door during the day for his business...right now he's shown no interest in going out...I think he's afraid we won't let him back in.

I bought more food tonight, he's eating well. He's quite friendly, not skittish. I called a local low cost vet care place today, hope to get an appointment to at least get him checked, make sure he's healthy. No return call yet.

Boss has been away this week. The cat stayed with his approval. We'll see how he feels about it next week, the boss really isn't a cat person.

I'm pretty sure I found this guy a home!

A friend will stop by to check him out and likely pick him up next week. They will take care of the vet visits and give him a very good home!
