Default This guy....

This guy showed up at my office on the waterfront yesterday. Not sure where he's been, but he's VERY friendly and not afraid of people. Skin and bones for sure.

Right now he is ensconced in the boss' dog's bed, in the outer office with food, water, and "facilities." I stopped by to check on him this AM, and he's doing well. He's got a bit of limp, but outside of that and the fact that he's skinny, seems to be OK.

He could be our shop "mouser" but a good home would be even better. Any takers?

Lainey--- I'm not dog and cat lover. There are two cats abandoned by the stupid owners roaming around my yards. I feel sorry see them in a very cold weather. They are territorial and can only get their food (mouse) in a very limited area. Since then, I've seen no mouse in my yard nor chipmunks.
My heart eventually made the difference by making them a nice insulated house. I bought a cat food and constantly feeding it. I figured, if I can volunteer in the soup kitchen feeding the unfortunate, why not feed the animals too?

Lainey, he's a doll! Unfortunately our cat won't tolerate another in the house-we tried to adopt not long ago. I'd take him in a heartbeat otherwise. We live on the edge of a forest and have a couple of feral cats that visit every day. We feed them morning and night and I just finished a warm shelter for the winter for them. Lotus and Lainey-bless you both for helping these poor guys!

Please post an add on Craigs List in the lost/found section with pic of the cat, you may find the real parents.

Not a bad idea, mas. This cat could be a long way from home. There is no residential area to speak of, where I work....I have the feeling the cat could have been dumped.

We have one cat, aren't looking to add to the family, but my co-workers and I will see that the cat has food and shelter.

Dave, Rose and I just did the same for our 3 feral cats. they get fed morning and night. These feral cats sure are survivors as one has been around 3 years now. I have a large dog carrier that i set up with a door with a entry hole in it inside it is lined with a blanket than a big pillow on top of that and finally a cat bed on top of that. They can stay warmer and dry inside. I also have another similar setup under out cement stairs they can take refuge in. It kills us to see them out there but there is no trapping or getting close to them.

Lainey how about an even trade. I will give you my cat for that one. My cat likes to bite people, but other than that she's very friendly as long as you don't touch her or make eye contact.

I think I'll pass on that one, but thanks anyway, Kenta.

She really is. Perhaps you should speak to Bass. He has cats with attitude problems ( why), maybe he'll take yours to add to his family, and you can have the shop kitty.
