I was thinking of you last night. Steph and I were talking about your huge wood

PILE that is...

We are considering getting a stove for the next season but it's most likely a pipe dream.

you should see my wood now -

both george & NL gave me a hand over the weekend and it's almost double in size (close to 5 cord now)

honestly keep an eye on CL - as there is always a killer deal once in a while and if you guys find one know a guy who can help install it so that it's safe and effecient

Our biggest problem is a lack of space to ut it where the kids wouldn't get into it. The house is quite small.

i hear ya - BUT they make safty gates but as erick would say - they'll only try to hug the stove once or twice

or better still - i am sure you taught them that your hand gun should not be played with -therefore, just store your hand gun on top of the wood stove

Yeah, we would def. get a gate, but the space is an issue right now.

you know you do have plenty of land - another awesome option is an out door wood furnace and no worries about room or the kids

all you need to do is keep it burning and all the wife needs to do is turn the t-stat

i wish i knew about these before i spent 5k on a new oil furnace

It's gotta be kept burning at all times though, huh? Might be a PITA at night.
