Looking for a fellow new englander who would be nice enough to help me install my Vis Mugen Rep hardtop and replace my slashed softtop not the handiest fellow in the world.Im located in the Lawrence area and ill be looking to install top in a few weeks so if anyone wants to give me a hand id appreciate it not for free of course.

 

You're doing both? The way I read it, you're putting in a new soft top and getting a hardtop. The hardtop catchers are easy enough. Never done a soft top install but I heard it's a major PIA.

 

thanks for response yes im doing both already have a brand new vis hardtop but also wanna swap out my softtop but could do one at a time.

 

Kenta, he doesn't have OEM hardware so it won't be as easy an installing ours is.

I did a soft top swap (complete frame swap) for a nicer top/glass rear window.

it takes hours and patience, but its worth it in the end. take your time, keep track of things, and find a nice DIY.

do you have the complete top w/ frame or just swapping the vinyl?
