Default help please

I went to take the S out and had to replace the battery, Thats cool $50 bucks and she is as good as new. ( it is however 5years old.) So now I put the new tires on ($516 dollars later) thank god for the income check. So everything is good right.

Wrong, do a friend a favor and bring him home. Got home and I hear a hissing sound not good. Not good when I can see this HUGH Nail in the Dark!!! So get that fix and were good to go.

Then the next day I hear POP, what they hell is that. Got a nice big slice in my PLASTIC window. Getting a quote new plastic window will cost 1,499. And if I want to upgrade I can get a glass one for 1,989. Oh what to do. It is fixed for the time being, but Now here comes the question.

The toy will be paid for in Dec. Should I wait and buy a new top then or buy one now? And is almost 2,000 dollars a reasonable price? I need help. I found one on ebay buy its not a "honda" top but it will fit one.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Miranda

Hi Miranda -

Billman from Metro can replace just the plastic rear window - he's the only guy i know of and he gets great props from everyone in metro - might want to ask him what he charges to do the job -

even though the car will be paid for in dec - if you can swing it i would get the window fixed - if you plan to keep the car forever then wait and upgrade to a glass top but if you plan to sell it in the next five years, i would just get the window fixed

Curry Honda in Chicopee MA is willing to replace the plastic window only for just over $300 so they must be trying to sell you the whole roof. Check another dealer.
