i use a product called Magyer's engine coat and it looks ok ( a little spotty on some plastic parts) but others have used a product called cd-7 (two step process) and the engine looks like new.. it can be found a Target or K-mart

cd-7 is quick (relatively), cheap ($7 at Target) and easy. I use it all the time. Just follow the instructions.

Hey turbo_pwr, nice intake setup. I like how you utilized the OEM setup.

BTW, What type of filter did you use? What modifications did you do to OEM? I would like to do the same but change as little as possible on the OEM setup. Also, what is that air deflector? Did you get noticeable gains?

Thanks for any info you can give

How about if I just put a K&N filter in place and remove the OEM stock box. Yes I will do a search. I believe there was some disscussion on this a few weeks ago. Thanks BASS.

Paivag, not a good idea to just put a K&N and remove the OEM stock box. You would just be sucking in hot air from the engine bay constantly. The Mugen Intake comes with a K&N.
