I'm using less this year because in the past 2 years the thermostat has been
turned down from 72 to 69 when I'm home and awake and down to 67
during sleeping hours, when I used to keep it at 72 all the time.

I didn't think I could get used to the lower temperature but I have so that's
a good thing.

My S still burns about a quart every 3000 miles. That seems much better than the rest of you. I don't notice any increase in consumption when I turn on the heat or the A/C. I burns more when I Vtec.

I've paid almost the exact same amount in gas bills this year as I did last year. But, I just looked at my actual gas usage and it's down this year. Also the average temperature this year has been lower than last year. I guess that's good; it looks like I'm using less gas but the price increase has made it a wash.
