Blah, blah, blah....
3- The implication here then is I need another vehicle for my commute. Not all of us are as wealthy as you, I drive a truck to work because I need a truck for towing and to support my home upgrade program/rebuild.
Blah-de blah blah...
Your frame-of-reference may be applicable to your life, but you cannot expect everybody to fit into the same system, or, well you can expect it, but it is totally impossible in application.

From Edmunds talking about Launch Control
"The computer holds the engine at 4,500 rpm and waits for you to lift your left foot off the brake pedal. When you do the GT-R produces the most crushing acceleration of virtually any production car in the world."

How am I some example of wealth that "everybody cannot fit?" I got 3 cars, you got three cars. You have a perfectly good CR-X in your garage. Drive it to work.

Sure..... Take a beauifully preserved nearly pristine 18-year old car and drag it through the salt and slop just to save some gas. Sorry, that is NOT going to happen.

Steve, something tells me we will be as disappointed with the NSX or whatever they decide to call it as we were with the CR.
For the money...... the performance of the GT-R is godly. I think the NSX will sticker for 100,000+ and I doubt will come close to the GT-R
