Thumbs down Kingz needs a hand.

I get a call from Kingz (Luis). He is on the way back from NY when his S starts to bog really bad. Pulls off the highway and the car stalls. He is able to start it and it will run at idle with a CEL at about 1000 RPM. Shortly thereafter the idle will drop to 300ish. If he touches the throttle it will stall.
I'll be relaying any suggestions.
Thoughts??

Sorry, I got nothing.
I would be calling AAA for a flatbed.
Wish him good luck!

sounds like heatsoak, but in an extreme way quick things to try open hood let it cool some, turn off the ac if its running and reset ecu by unhooking battery.

And I think heatsoak is only when the car is stationary and can't move the heat out of the bay via fresh moving air.

the ecu fuse is the same as the radio fuse - think it's a 7.5 under the dash
