Who's going to post a poll on this??? Are we cancelling? Depending on how nice it is on Sunday I might still do this drive for the hell of it. Maybe I'll take my 900rr out instead.

Be careful if your bringing your bike! did you guys read in the Metro NYC forum recently? A board member lost his life on his R6 on memorial day. Young kid too, very sad. I am very glad i sold mine.
May he rest in peace

Shit happens. Thats why I sold my 600 years ago because I had that fearless feeling in me and my numerous speeding infractions on that thing was embarrassing. Now I have a 900 that I rarely ride. Its actually at my brothers since he would probably ride it more than me.

Here's a pic:

That just must be not a good bike.........my best friend did a FACE plant into a park bench because of an R6. Broke every bone in his face every area you could imagine........EXCEPT HIS NOSE which they broke and straingtend out in the process of putting everything else back together!!!! So a few screws, titanium plates, lots of WIRE and about 3 months of recovery and he looks almost like new. Not the exact same but DAMN GOOD! Still gets the chicks!

Never wanted to ride one before that NEVER will ride one after seeing that. I had to clean out his helmet which he broke the chin area clean through. All I can say is messy. Please be careful or better yet DON'T RIDE a bike. If you do use a helmet it was the ONLY thing that saved his life.
