Any Sat or Sunday in July works for me. After the July 4th Holiday that is

In August, i belive i will be in the Mother land again for 3 weeks or so. Or at least in trying! Damn airfare this year is expensive. The cheapest flight ive found so far is $1165 (tax included) round trip each! This is insane!

WOW, last time I went 2 years ago it was around $950. I remember when they used to be like $600 and change. Seems that not a lot of flights are going to portugal like before. Especially from JFK. I think Newark is a lot cheaper. Did you try any travel agents in Newark? Some times they have charters and you can get on those cheap! But then again you had to do this like back in Jan.

Where you going in Portugal? Algarve?

Well, i will see if i can make Algarve. Im hoping to at least 1-2 days but its Way far from where we are staying. Im staying in Lisbon 3-4 days at my gf's uncles place. He has a beutiful place on a hill overlooking the beach. He is a top exec for Vodafone, the Verizon of Europe basically.
From there going to stay at my parents house which they built last summer. Coming up on its one year anniversary! That is in "Cantanhede" which is in the area of Coimbra which im sure you know where that is. About 15-20 min away from the closest beach. Now debating on a rental car. From there we will go to Figueira de Foz for a few days as my Gf's apt is there. The nightlife there is great and lots of sight-seeing similar to Algarve.

About Tix, yeah i shouldve bought them in Jan or feb. My parents bought their Tix in March and paid $750 ea round-trip, but back then i wasnt really sure i was going to go. And yes, taking off from Newark Aug 4th (cheaper to take off on a Mon-thursday) on "TAP" and they usually have 2 flights per day.

OK, so what about this drive
